The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be the 22nd edition of the world’s most prestigious football tournament. It will be held from 21 November to 18 December, with 48 teams competing. It will be the first time that the competition has been hosted in the Middle East, and it will also mark a return to the winter schedule for the event after 1992 and 1994 in Europe.
